Art scholarship seekers read on.  Money is available for artists of all disciplines.  According to the The National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts website they contact every high school in the nation searching for the top artists.  Of the 6 - 8,000 some artists selected 10 % receive scholarships.  This seems to be a good number of scholarships.  They support young artists and offer scholarships. SCHERING-PLOUGH OFFERS "WILL TO WIN" ASTHMA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. THis scholarship has been around for over 22 years and will grant a total of $50,000 in scholarships in five categories. Performing Arts, Science, Athletics, Visual Arts and Community Service.

Eco-friendly and recieve a $500 dollar scholarship for writing a 500 word essay!

According to the website "The Nicodemus Wilderness Foundation was founded because of the need for environmental restoration, stewardship, and protection of neglected public lands." I was planning on reporting today about the GMMDA scholarship foundation. The Generaly Motors Minority Dealers Association has given over one million dollars in the past but suspended their 2009 - 2010 school year scholarship. It might be worth contacting them for the following school year at GMMDA

This scholarship is designed for ethnic minority students and worth looking into for the 2010-2011 school year.

Hispanic Scholarship fund

High school juniors listen up- Prepare early for the Coca-Cola Scholars Program

According the the Coca-Cola Scholars website each year "the Coca−Cola Scholars Foundation awards a total of $3 million in achievement-based four-year college scholarships to 250 outstanding high school seniors from communities across the nation. The Foundation annually awards 200 Regional scholarships of $10,000 each and 50 National scholarships of $20,000 each. The Coca−Cola Scholars Foundation evaluates applicants on the basis of demonstrated leadership in academics, school, community and civic activities, as well as personal character and the motivation to serve and succeed."
